CoreLogic’s Monthly Housing Chart Pack - March 2025

Updated: Dec 15, 2025

CoreLogic’s March 2025 Monthly Housing Chart Pack reveals continued momentum in Australia’s property landscape. Over the past quarter, national home values rose 1.2%, with capital cities leading at 1.5% growth, while regional markets saw a more moderate 0.7% increase.

Notably, Perth remains one of the strongest performers, with dwelling values up 14.3% over the year, driven by sustained demand and limited housing supply. The rental market continues to tighten, with rents increasing 9.6% annually, placing further pressure on affordability.

With an RBA rate cut of 0.25%, there is potential for increased buyer activity, particularly in the lower-priced housing segment. As affordability remains a key concern, these shifts highlight the ongoing need for accessible housing options.
