Government Announces $55,000 in Grants
WHAT GRANTS ARE AVAILABLE?
The West Australian Government
Owner-occupiers and investors will receive a $20,000 grant for new homes regardless of the value.
Who Can Apply?
- Owner-occupier & investor
- Australian citizens and foreign persons
- Natural person, corporation and trustees
- No income test
- No limit on the values of construction
The Federal Government
Owner-occupiers will receive a $25,000 grant for new builds up to a value of $750,000.
Who Can Apply?
- Owner-Occupiers only
- Australian Citizens
- Income tests – Singles $125,000 and couples $200,000
The WA grant means new homebuyers who meet income criteria for the federal package could receive $45,000 in government assistance.
And don’t forget, if you are a first home buyer you may be eligible for the $10,000 First Home Owners Grant.
